Lake Wildwood: is a 300 surface-acre man-made lake, with 7.5 miles of shoreline. It holds 5,700 acre-feet of water. Average depth is 20 feet. The dam is earth fill with clay core. Lake uses include water skiing, boating, sailing & fishing. There are large mouth bass, bluegill and catfish in the lake. This beautiful lake is in the center of a private community developed in the late 1960's by Boise Cascade. The project consists of approximately 3000 acres, and is centered around Lake Wildwood. A fully staffed, friendly Lake Wildwood Security Force is on duty 24 hours a day, and mans two entrance gates.
The elevation: is at the lowest 1,200 feet above sea level and the highest, 1,580 feet above sea level. The popular saying is " We are above the fog and below the snow."
